How We Review Skincare Products

GlowScience HQ is built on science, not trends. Every product is evaluated against clinical evidence.

Evaluation Framework

1. Ingredient Efficacy (35%) — Every active ingredient is assessed against peer-reviewed research. Concentrations matter — we verify actives are present at clinically effective levels.

2. Formulation Quality (20%) — Ingredient synergies, pH appropriateness for actives (Vitamin C, AHAs), preservative system, and fragrance-free status.

3. Safety & Dermatologist Testing (20%) — Allergy-tested claims, non-comedogenic testing, and independent clinical trials.

4. Value for Money (15%) — Cost per effective dose of the key active ingredient(s).

5. Brand Transparency (10%) — Full ingredient disclosure, expiry dating, and response to consumer queries.

Our Team

Reviews are informed by a licensed esthetician and cross-referenced with dermatology literature.
